I went to see my specialist - getting ready for IUI - had ultrasound (CD 12) and the doctor saw several large blood vessels, so naturally he cancelled the IUI. I had great follicles so I responded to the Clomid very well. He called this Arteriovenous Malformation of the uterus. I have not had any heavy bleeding or anything - this was just detected in the ultrasound. Is this something that can be treated and will I be able to become pregnant?

Thanks for any help!
Tina

Here is another young woman's account of her AVM and how she became pregnant succesfully.

Please do not feel obligated to pay me for this link as I am not a gynecologist. In this instance I am just happy to be able to help point you in a general direction until another (hopefully gynecologist)expert can answer for you.

Thanks

Sincere best wishes to you!!
