I have a canker sore that I think has become infected. My mouth is swollen on that side. Off and on my check will become very hot. There is pain on that side.

Reply to James's Post: i've taken antibiotics (z-pack) It seemed to be helping the first day with the pain but it is the third day now and i still have swelling and moderate pain

Did the prescribing doctor perform a culture of any fluid from the area?

Do the antibiotics seem to be working at all?
