Usually women have pigmentation changes in their skin due to estrogen and progesterone during pregnancy. It can also be due to folic acid deficiency. Usually it fades after delivery. This is something that I would bring to the attention of you doctor, to see exactly what is going on.

If it were skin cancer there would be other symptoms. The most common sign of skin cancer is a change on the skin, such as a growth or a sore that won't heal. Sometime there may be a small lump. This lump can be smooth, shiny and waxy looking, or it can be red or reddish brown. Skin cancer may also appear as a flat red spot that is rough or scaly. I would see your doctor to explore this further to determine what exactly is going on.
