What could be the cause of post menapause very slight blood once in awhile?

This could be atrophic vaginitis. Which the vaginal lining becomes thinned out and bleeds easily, which can be caused by low estrogen levels. I would see your doctor for further evaluation, so proper treatment can be given.

IT happens only occasionaly I do not want hormones of any kind I have passed menapause very naturally and have not had period for 16 mos. it seems as tho A &D ointment helps do you any other suggestions?
