I am 73 years old and have been on syntheroid for many years. Recent dose was 100 mgs.wasnt feeling good. Doctor found tsh w reflex at .o7 mciu/ml vs ref range of .35-5.5. Freet4 was 1.7. ref. range is .7-1.7. What does all this mean and what is indicated i should do. No . the doctor was unable to answer this question and just recommended i go to 75 mgs. syntheroid. Still dont feel any better after a month. Listless, cold, tired. kathryn e . devaris. At XXXXX@XXXXXX.XXX

I suggest to you to see an Endocrinologist . Your tsh is .07 suggesting that synthyroid 100 microgram is high for you. You are symptomatic with 100 microgram. So you may need Estrogen hormone replacement or you may need some other kind of treatment. Endocrinologist is the right person to help you at this point.
