I would elevate your legs as much as possible above your heart.
It is not uncommon to have leg and ankle swelling, especially in the summer months.
It is important to also restrict your sodium (salt) intake as this will make a significant improvement.
If you notice that you do nothave significant improvement over the course of the next few days, it would be important to consult your doctor as often this type of swelling can be associated with cardiac events.
