I had unprotected sex on March 20th and again on April 10th. My last menstrual period was March 7th and had on e April 13th that wasn't normal. My doctor gave me a due date of Jan. 2nd. She said they're not going by last period but size of baby. My question is which date was it that I conceived.

If you go by the due date the doctor gave you of 1/2/2007, this could put conception around 04/11/2006. So when you had sex on the 04/10/2006, that is when you go pregnant.

Reply to Lindie's Post: My first doctors appointment was May 30th and they heard the heartbeat with the doppler device. Which means going by April 10th I wld've only been 7 weeks pregnant. Thats what the nurse thought before she seen me. Then when she heard the heartbeat said my due date was Dec. 12th. Then the next time after ultrasound they changed it to Jan 2nd. Is it possible for the baby just to be small and thats why the date changed? What's the earliest you can hear the heartbeat with doppler?

Around the 8th to the 9th on up. This does vary depending on location of the baby, along with if the Mom is small framed and thin to someone who is large framed and over weight. So average look around 10th week. Plus do remember, there is generally a +/- 1 to 2 week variation as well when it comes to predicting a due date.

Hope this helps Hun.

It's a tuff call Hun. If you go by your LMP conception would have been March 21st. and that would put you at 21 weeks, 3 days right now, with a due date around 12/12/2006. This would have also put you at about 10 weeks when you had your appt on May 30th, in which the heartbeat was heard as well. vs being 7 week on May 30th. Which can be a bit early to hear via the doppler. So it's a very good chance this is your boyfriends baby.

Not sure how you feel about it, but you can also do an amnio to determine the father, or you may also want to do a 3D ultra sound, which can show things better with the baby and how far along the baby is vs a regular u/s. But they are a bit expensive.

Hope this helps Hun.
