My son just turned 11. He seems to have a very nervous stomach, and has periods where he is nauseous a lot, and sometimes wakes up in the middle of the night and vomits. He just started 6th grade, and has started to have anxiety about thunderstorms. He seems to be growing fine, gets good grades, is doing well in Karate, and there are long periods of time when he does not feel nauseous. Is this a normal part of growing up, or should we take him to a doctor to investigate further?
