Reply to James's Post: I am 20-30 # overweight.

I am trying to run 4 miles each week (2 miles twice each week), but the last 2 weeks I have ended up walking the 4 miles due to the severity of the pain every time I try to run.

I have not seen a Dr. yet. I am in nursing school and kinda diagnosed myself with all of the symtoms I am having. oops! I know!

I have recently 4 weeks ago decided I want to do a Triathalon next year and have started training for that following the diet and workout according to the book. I thought maybe this was due to over working, but It started me out slowly and gradually increases, So I don't know why I can't get rid of this problem. I went to an athletic store and they watched me run and put me in some real nice shoes with orthotics since I was pronating. I thought they would help, but I had this problem before I went to get them, so I don't think it's the shoes. I just need to know how to heal.
