I have never been what you call a regular monthly peroid person. I had a normal peroid Jan 24, 2006 and then went until July 4, 2006 before I had another. I had an abdominal cat scan done in May for kidney stones and underwent some treatment for the one kidney stone that I had. The reason for me meantioning the cat scan is to tell you that I was and am not pregnant. I have had serveral blood pregnacy test taken and all were negative. Now I am still on my monthly peroid that started July 4th. This peroid has been the heaviest that I have ever had. I am also passing rather large blood clumps . I have tried to get into a doctor but there is a 2 month waiting list before my appointment. Should I be alarmed that this peroid has lasted so long and is it normal for me to pass the large blood clots? I am not a smoker or a drinker.
