Bruise on skin surrounding testicle

Sent to Health Experts August 15 02:26 PM

I have a small black circle that appears to be a bruise on the skin surrounding my testicle. Its not a perfect circle mind you, but it is a somewhat circular mark. I know its not on my testicle because when I move the skin the bruise goes with it. Oral sex was performed on me in that region early Monday morning (around 4 AM), and I noticed it for the first time when I woke up around 11 AM. I don't think any of the symptoms I've read up on (testicular cancer, epiditimytis, etc) match what it is. What are the chances its just a bruise? She was sucking extremely hard on everything, so I wouldn't be suprised. Could it also be a burst blood vessel? a hickey? I really need to know please help! Thanks!

Hi Customer (name blocked for privacy)-

It sounds like you have some burst blood vessels on the skin surrounding your testicle, caused by the oral sex.

To be safe, however, you should be seen by your doctor if the mark does not begin to fade in the next day, or if you begin to feel pain in the general area or any lumps/tenderness. These are all signs of something more serious.

In the future, encourage your sexual partners to be a bit more gentle, particularly in the testicular region.

Sincerely,
Emily
