What should I do about a bleeding mole?

I have quite a few moles on different parts of my body that I have had since I was little. Last night I moved to pick something up off of the floor and noticed that one of the moles on my back was pulling. I felt it and when i looked at my hand; I had blood on my fingers. I don't know if it was scratched earlier yesterday or what and I am concerned about it. What should I do? What could have caused it to start bleeding all of a sudden?
