Numbness around bruising caused by fall.

Sent to Health Experts August 22 11:14 PM

I fell down the steps on my front porch about a week ago. The next day I started to feel a numb spot over the impact site. Slowly over the next several days, the numbness has spread. What could be causing it?

Reply to James's Post: What part of your body was injured in the fall?
Right below the knee

How old are you?
24

Any bruising?
There is tiny bruises all over my lower leg on my shin.
Numbing is right below my knee, where the impact occured.
My leg itches badly in this area, light itching eveywhere else there is bruising. I realize itching around trama areas is a sign of healing.
