(Not a Health Question?)

possible bells palsy
Sent to Health Experts August 27 09:02 AM

For the last six weeks the top right edge of my lip is numb most of the time. It doesnt bother me but I am aware of it.
Is this a condition of Bells Palsy? Should I hurry to see a doctor and what kind? ps-I have no health insurance.
Thanks, Mike

You need to see a NEUROLOGIST to rule out Bell's palsy. You can talk to the secretary or the receptionist of the doctor to find out if they can offer to you a payment plan so you can pay them for their services.

It's kind of like saying I might be sick and you answer back 'see a doctor'. Is your answer the best answer? I've never used your service before, so maybe this is the standard answer. Thanks, Mike

This kind of conditions needs to be seen by a Neurologist as soon as possible and treated accordingly.

Reply to V. Yetimyan   M.D.'s Post: I have no regular physican to refer me to a specialist, so first I have to do that. I have no insurance to find a general physician. So my own willpower will guide me. I was just hoping for some sort of statistics on parts of the face that Bells Palsy attacks, or stats on how long the palsy takes to strike upon first symptoms, or a list of symptoms, or maybe just a second sentence, etc. etc.. There didn't seem to be any value to the answer. Perhaps I shouldn't have expected anything profound. Thanks, Mike
