After IUI

I took clomid cd2,3,4,5 I had my 1st IUI on Sat. I feel like someone is sqeezing and holding on to my ovaries is this normal? also I have and a little brown spotting only once on cd5? I am scheduled for blood work on day 7 after IUI what are they tesing for? can anyone please help!
