I woke up with mild shoulder pain on my right side. I have been cleaning house all day and now I can barely move it without severe pain. I can move my arm front to back with no pain but when I move it at a 45 degree angle it really really hurts. What can should I do? I hurt bad.

I would continue to take the ibuprofen 2 tablets 4 times daily. You can also take Tylenol (acetaminophen) 2 tablets 4 times daily.

I would of course tell you to take it easy tonight, and you can try ice - 10-15 minutes at a time every few hours.

Call your doctor tomorrow - it sounds like you may have developed a bursitis or tendonitis from the excessive cleaning. You may benefit from a steroid injection.

Bursitis can last for days to weeks, and in some people it becomes chronic
