Question

sick son

Sent to Health Experts September 14, 2006 10:10 a.m.

My son is 21. He became ill with a stomach / intestinal virus. He felt good for one day and then became weak, febrile (102-100.4)His sinuses are full ,and he has a severe headache. He also has no appetite. He went to the ER and they said it was from vomiting he got the virus in his sinuses. Antibiotics would just make his vomiting and diarhhea worse. He has gotten sicker over the past few days. This all started on Friday the 8th. I phoned my family doctor, who has treated him, and his receptionist/paramour said for him to come down. She then phoned back and said that the doctor wouldn't see him. This is because I had a check returned and I have an appointment on Friday the 22nd to see him for treatment and to pay him in cash. He practices an hour away. Please let me know what to do. thanks
