The areas on either side of my vagina seems to be swollen under neath the skin. I did a little research online and I think they are my lymph glands. It started two days ago at first just on the left side. Then yesterday both sides were swollen. My research online told me to use a hot compress b/c something was blocked. So I did it 3 time yesterday and 4 times today. When I took a shower about 2 hours ago I noticed that my left labia is very very swollen. The swelling of lymph glands (what I think they are?) has gone down on the right side (not completely) and stayed the same on the left. It is more painful then itchy and I have a semi thick white discharge. I am urinating normaly with no discomfort and the pain doesn't go any where else. What is wrong? What do I do?

Hello, It looks like either an allergic reaction particularly to soaps, colored toilet paper, vaginal sprays, laundry detergents, bubble bath, or fragrances or a vaginal yeast infection. I suggest to you to stay away these allergens and use Monistat vaginal cream for yeast infection. If it does not get any better in few days, see a doctor and get swab testing of the vaginal discharge.
