Is this a doctor controlled withdrawal of meds. Or did you do this on your own. How long were you on lexapro. What other meds were you on and what is your DX.

My doc just told me to slowly cut back on my meds. so, I cut them in half for the past 4 months and then went off of them 4 weeks ago. I was taking 10mg for about 4 years.

When you say you went off them do you mean cold turkey 4 weeks ago from the half tabs.

yes, that is what I mean. by the way, I'm not suicidal, I just want to hide until I feel better. I can't do that because I have a demanding job and life.

Ok, that is your problem and do not worry I am not even thinking your suicidal. What you need to do is get back on your 1/2 tabs and start a every other day then every third day and so on until your off them. Stopping them cold turkey like this is what has done it. You need to draw up a new plan based on the above 1/2 tabs and then start your tapering again. You can not stop these cold turkey. Let me know if you need further asistance.
