fosheyk,

Period abnormalities can be due to many things including stress, weight gain/loss, thyroid, infection, illness, medications, hormonal imbalance, polyp, cyst, amongst other reasons. Please see your doctor for an exam and testing to determine what the exact cause may be.

Relist: I still need help.
I have had a pap and it came out fine. So my regular doctor recommended a OPGYN. I just wanted to get an idea what it is. It started a year ago, I would skip one month with no period and then the next month I would bleed for 2-3 weeks. Then the next cycle it would be normal and when I just started spotting for the last 3-4 months. Could it be by change.
