Has your doctor recommended this combination? Are you on any other medications?

I take prescription iron, an over the counter multi vitamin & calcium. No my doctor has not recommended this combination. I was going to bring it up to her, but wanted to even know if it was ok to mix the both before I wasted a trip to her to ask.

There is indeed a drug-drug interaction listed for these two medications. Both of these medications increase the risk of seizures. It is NOT recommended that they be used together.

(Sorry for the delay - I was working the ER earlier, and it got busy)
