Eye pain, redness, discomfort, just finished an ...

Eye pain, redness, discomfort, just finished an antibacterial drops for 7 days followed by drops for dry eyes for 7 days. Wore my new contacts for 8 hours,after two weeks abstainance,and now have the same pain in my eye. What should I do besides continue the same steps above. Should I see an opthomologist?

Hi,

If the pain started again after wearing contacts for 8 hours , i suggest to you do not wear contacts until you see an eye doctor. In the mean time continue the same eye drops.

Yetimyan   M.D.'s Post: I feel like you just told me to "take an aspirin and call me in the morning" The obvious answer is to stop wearing the lenses and to continue the drops, I would like to know if it could be a sinus infection, I have a feeling in my ear,left ear,left eye, post nasal drip etc. Do you think I should see a different dr? I don't think this Dr got it right in the first place. He has already charged my insurance almost $500.00..

Hello,

Sinus infection, Glaucoma and Migraine headache needs to be ruled out. I suggest to you to see another Eye Doctor as soon as possible or go to an Emergency Room.
