Question

What does it mean when I bend over and my legs go numb and tingle?

Sent to Health Experts October 16, 2006 2:30 a.m.

I hurt my back about 2 weeks back, I went to a doctor and he gave me darvocet and flexerol for the pain which was believed to be muscle spasms. He also sent me to have massage therapy sessions, which made it worse. I went back to him and he did an x-ray and said he wants me to try physical therapy. The pain is just unbareable and I can work now, or sit and he didn't even address the numbness or tingling which is still bothering me.

Hello and Welcome to Just Answer,

Is the numbness and tingling only happen when you bend over or is it more frequent? How long ago did you hurt your back? How did you hurt your back?

Thank you,
Pam Russell RN
