i have a irregular cycle, im not sexually active and not on birth control. sometimes i can go 2-3months without a cycle..but when i get one after long periods of time they last more than 14 days..whats my problem?

Any bleeding longer than 10 days should be checked out by your doctor, as too much bleeding can cause you to become anemic. Without an in person evaluation would be hard to pin point exactly what is going on. However some most common causes can include: Stress, weight gain/loss, medication, illness, hormonal imbalance, thyroid, infection.. just to name a few. So do give your doctor a call.
