my husband has a frozen shoulder and is in a lot of pain ...

my husband has a frozen shoulder and is in a lot of pain and cannot sleep. he is having physio but it is not getting any better. his doctor has said he cannot have a painkilling injection that will help because he is on warfarin, but he did not explain why.

Can you please tell me why not and if there is another strong painkiller he can take to help?
