Getting my period the day after I have intercouse all month long

Hi.

I had a baby in July. I decided to go on birth control. I started in September and have been having problems with my menstrual cycle. I would have my period for 1 week then it would stop, I would have intercourse and the next day I would have my period again. This has been constant and hasnt stopped. This is scary and I'm hoping this isnt a serious condition? Please help!
