Hello. I have a question regarding blood in my stool.

Hello. I have a question regarding blood in my stool. When it comes out it looks normal, but after a few seconds light amounts of blood seems to come streaming from it like it is part of the stool. This happens only once in a while, but I'm not sure if it something that should be addressed or not. Thanks for your help. :)

Yes, it needs to be addressed. It looks like bleeding from the internal hemorrhoids. But other causes of the bleeding also needs to be rule out . Such as :

polyp from colon
angiodysplasia
diverticular disease of colon
inflammatory bowel disease
trauma
colon cancer

Please see a doctor as soon as possible or go to an Urgent Care Center.
