what does it mean when you poop and blood comes with it?

well i have gone to the dr before because i have had problems going and sometimes when i cleaned myself i got a little bit of blood and they told me i was constipated so they told me to eat plum raisin but today i went to the bathroom and it looked as if all the water of the toilet was blood it is not my period i just had it last week and i know it was my poop i noticed it when i cleaned myself. what should i do? what can it be?
