Health Question-Please Help!

OK. So I have these painful sores around my anus. I am afraid that it might be an STD, even though my partner and I always use protection and we do not have anal intercourse. It has been like this for 4 days. Help! My insurance doesn’t kick in until Feb. 1 what should I do?

Hello,

I would be concerned with a herpes virus when I think of sores in that area. Are you having any other symptoms, and are they located only in this general area, or are they other places as well?

Please answer if you can, and I can try to assist you better.

A little more info is needed again, and I apologise but want to do my very best to research this for you.

First, Did you notice these at any certain time, like after anal sex, or directly after a bowel movement, etc,?

Have you ruled out the possibility of basis hemmoroids? They can cause this as well...

I noticed it because my anal cavity was sore. I am a regular person and it hurts when trying to pass anything. I have never had anal sex so that's out.
Hemmoroids, really???? I haven't ruled that out, infact I didn't even think of that.
