My chiild was just diagnosed with an ear infectin due to a bad cold. I was told she will have a fever for a couple of days, and was instructed to give her children's motrin, which lasts up to 8 hours. She has had a fever flluctuating from 100-102 since 10:45pm It's now 2:56 pm and she still has a fever. I gave her Children's motrin at 10:50 pm...She still has a fever. Can I give her another dose or should I try Tylenol instead? Its only been about 4 hours.

What was the dose (ml) given to her?
Has the fever gone down at all from the time that she has been given motrin?
How much is it right now?
Has she been given any antibiotics as well?

She is in Amoxicillian 250 9 ml 2 times a day, and she also just got a mild rash I don't know if this is normal or could mean that she has an allergic reation
