ACCEPTED Check Mark

Hydrocodone/Oxycodone stays in the system from 2-5 days, two if not taken long sometimes up to 5 if taken regularly. In your case, 2 days should be safe.

Oxycodone will not show up on a standard 5 panel urine drug test under opiates because the two opiate metabolites tested on the standard 5 panel drug test are codeine and morphine.

The only opiates which will cause a 5 panel urine drug test to be positive are codeine, morphine, heroin, and poppy seeds (low levels only)

Oxycodone, hydrocodone are NOT detected on standard (5 panel) "opiates" drug testing. They are semi-synthetic opiates and do not metabolize to codeine or morphine.

The doctor would need to specifically test for hydrocodone (through a licensed/certified lab) to detect use.
