My husband is in the hospital with mrsa, the doctor is worried that it may have intered the lymph node in his groin . what will happen if this is true?

but what if it is in his blood stream and it goes all over his body? he has been battling this for about 5 months and the er doctors just give him pills and send him home. He went in christmas eve to have this boil thing looked at they lanced it then packed it and was given some ppills and told to come back to remove the packing, he did and now it got worse and they keep him. how long do you think he will be in the hospital?

ok I understand all this, thank you. but with it being mrsa and its all over his body and lets say in all his organs how sick can he get, and could he die.

MRSA can be a serious bug. I have seen patients in the same situation treated with Cubasyn and eventually recover. To be honest, you know that a person can die with sepsis, but I don't think that is something to worry about right now. I think this push in the right direction will help.

I would like to have a specialest that knows more on these kind of matters. and incase I hear some desterbing news on my husband tomorrow.
