I am now 22yrs & am having stomach cramp & a rcent ultra-sound revealed anexal lesion on my right falopian tube........I am most distressed & am having pap in next couple of weeks but am concerned the lesion is related & if so could this spell end of my future ability to start a family?

Hello,

It is extremely unlikely that the adnexal lesion in your fallopian tubes is due to the CIN.

CIN is usually caused by HPV infection. HPV rarely, if ever, affects the tubes or the uterus in any way.

But adnexal lesions can be caused by other STDs like chlamydia or gonorrhea. Since HPV is also an STD, it is possible that you had picked up aother STD at the time which caused the lesion.

Whether your fertility has been affected or not can only be determined by other procedures like laparoscopy and hysterosalpingography. It will depend on whether the tube has got blocked in any way by the lesion and whether the other tube is also affected. Please consult a gynecologist for a thoroguh examination.

I hope this helps.

Well is there a chance that dysplacia can progress rapidly in a woman of 22yrs generally speaking to the point of stage III or even cancer?? I am fearing not been able to have children due to my arrogance when I was 19yrs & now older fear it could have progressed??? Or does this process of mutation of the cells take many years?

The lesion on my tube I believe is the source of the stomach cramps I get in different degree's of intensity recently. the lesion is 1.5cm in size as per ultra-sound which revelaed no connection to the ovaries & sizing of the uterus & cirvix normal?

from researching I've done the closest thing I think it could be until I get tests back in coming weeks is endometreosis? I have no discharge, loss of weight or any other 'cancer' syptoms other than bad cramping?
