My 6-year old son complained of soreness/pain in his upper left jaw--no swelling obvious. About a 1/2 hour later he said it hurt more...i asked if it was on both sides-he said no. So I told him I would place my finger on the non-pain side so he could tell me where it hurt on the pain side. I touched just below the ear where it meets the jaw and he said it hurts there too and he started to cry. I layed him down in bed and gave him some children's tylenol liquid. He fell asleep and awoke approx 2 hrs later whining a bit and then he vomited pretty extensively. I gave him some water and he said he was fine and he fell asleep. The vomit seemed to come from already digested food because some of it was brown and was impressed to look like it had been in the intestine. He didn't seem to have a temp earlier or now. Am I to worry? Thanks, Single Father.
