Hi Customer (name blocked for privacy).

There are many antibiotics that are used to treat ear infection. They include amoxicillin, bactrim, erythromycin, vancomycin. Your doctor prescribe the antibiotic based on what kind of bacteria and if the bacteria is resistant to a certain kind of antibiotic. Levaquine may cause anxiety and palpitation. However, the chance is very low and it is not permanent. If you experience these side effects, you should talk to your doctor about other antibiotics.
