Dear Customer (name blocked for privacy),
Thank you for the additional information. It's helpful. The sinking of the centre shoulder region is basically in the middle of the trapezius muscle and also very near some important nerves that pass just under that region and supply nerves for movement and sensation to your shoulders, arms, and hands. I am a bit concerned that you may have developed a nerve impingement syndrome, or have arthritic changes that may be leading to the numbness and tingling. I have a question or two more on that now:
Where do you feel the numbness and tingling? Be as specific as possible. Which parts of the shoulder, arm, or hand/fingers?
Do you have this numbness and tingling on BOTH sides? If so, are they affecting the same regions?
Do you wear your purse on either shoulder, or one more than another? Does that correlate with the centre shoulder sinking moreso on the side where you most often wear your purse strap?
The elbows hurting and the shock feeling may indicate that the ulnar nerve, just inside the elbow area, is inflammed or entrapped -- or both. Does the shock go down to your pinky (little) finger?
I will get back to you shortly,
Daniel
