Already Tried:
Just washing, brushing my teeth and using mouthwash (Scope). But when I lick my lips, salt. My whole mouth tastes of salt. Is this normal when exercising?

Is there any laymens test to see if I am dehydrating? I had endocarditis 3 years ago and had a valve repaired. Iam alittle leary of the possibilities.

ACCEPTED Check Mark

Sometimes your urine will appear a darker yellow color than normal if you are dehydrated, but this is not always a reliable indicator. It is very unlikley that endocarditis or anything cardiac, for that matter, would cause a salty taste in your mouth.
