Either diet is nutritionally sound and can be an effective way to lose weight. The benefit of Jenny Craig is that you eat their food, and nothing else, thus limiting your temptation for "just one more serving" or making a bad food choice. The benefit of weight watchers is that you have more freedom to eat out, have a junk food, etc., as long as you follow their guidelines for points or whatever plan you're using. They both offer support, but Weight Watchers typically gives more group support and encourages meeting with other people who are struggling to lose weight. Whatever you decide to do, make sure you incorporate some form of exercise every day, and look at it as a lifestyle change, not a temporary fix. In my experience, the people who go into it as a lifestyle change, really learn correct portion sizes, make good food choices at least 80 percent of the time, and make exercise a part of their daily habit, are the only ones who keep the weight off for good. The more you do it, the more you'll want to do it. So, once you get into a good routine, it feeds on itself and before you know it, you are living a healthy lifestyle! Kudos for wanting to make yourself healthier and prolong your life for yourself and your loved ones!
