You are suffering from hormonal imbalance for some reason. Are you under a lot of stress or emotional problems? Or have you started an exercise program or have started dieting? Change in the environment can aslo cause hormonal imbalance.
To get your hormones stable again you will need to take birth control pills for at least 3 consecutive months. Sometimes, it may be necessary to take them for 6 months.
If you continue toget irregular or heavy problems, you will need to get an ultrasound to see if you have any uterine polyps or fibroids which can also cause prolonged and heavy menstruation.
