I got my period last month on the 16th of ...

I got my period last month on the 16th of november ,,, but sometimes my period changes days ,, so this month i got my priod on the 22th of december but my period isnt red it's like brown,, and i never seen that before ? what could that mean? Am taking phertermine 37.5mg pills to lose weight because am a little to over like 70 pounds so can it be the pill? Please help me i would like to know as soon as possible ... Am very nervous because this has never happened to me!!!!
