Could there be a medical reason that I am gaining weight even though I am trying to lose? I am 5"2 and 35 years old and have been recently gaining weight even though I am dieting and exercising. I have always watched my eating and done exercise on and off. My weight has fluctuated over the past 10 years up and down between 118-130. After my 4th child was born 2 years ago I was a steady 132lbs. Now I have gone from 132 to 140 in the last 8 months. I try to eat healthy and in moderation and try to keep track of calories. My exercise routine consists of 20 min. on and eliptical and 20 min of weights and machines. I do this about 2 times a week. I also take different classes (cardio and weights) 2 times a week. The medications I am taking are Zoloft 50mg and lipitor 10mg daily. I also take a multivitamin. I just bought a bottle of Hoodia but only took it twice for the past 2 days. I am really at a loss for what else to do to try and loise weight.
