Yes, anxiety can present in several ways,. A feeling of numbness, specially in the face region, is a very typical symptom of anxiety. Since you already know that you have anxiety, you should attribute your symptom to this.
Asthma however, would not be related to anxiety, though in a person who has asthma, anxiety could trigger it off. But asthma has some specific signs like some sounds in the chest called rhonci, this would not occur with anxiety alone, the person has to suffer from asthma for this to happen. Unless you have been diagnosed by a doctor, you should not attribute an episode of breathing difficulty to asthmatic attack.
