What should I do if constipation is so ...

Sent to Health Experts August 07 02:14 PM

What should I do if constipation is so chronic that it responds to no methods (to let it yield)? Its cause is a side effect of Dilantin and or Diamox (anti-seizure). But doing exercise, eating fiber, drinking water get no response (although colonoscopy, etc., find things to be "fine down there").

I understand it's puzzling. But I can't find any doctor or aid who is interested in helping me. Since no answers are seen now, I'm not even given suggestions on how to improve (not cure) this problem.

Any suggestions from you?

a few regular laxatives -- no effect; flush-outs: the only way to get any yield (i.e. Milk of Mag. for small yield and big flush of Electrolye Solution)
