I have never had a regular menstral cycle, I am a very active person & have always been since before I started my period. I am a Pre-Proffesional Dancer (ballet, jazz, etc.), and exercise continuously which cause my irregular menstration. I've been out of dance for a year now, but am now getting into exercising everyday again. My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex (ooops), but he pulled out in plenty of time, on the night of Oct. 15th; and the next morning I was bleeding (it was mostly brown with some red blood). Today is Oct. 17th and it looks the same as yesterday, like a Medium to light Period. But it hasn't been even 28days since my last period (it's been 17days as of the 16th, the day it started). I have also been very stressed out lately, is being very stressed and the excesive exercise causing my menstration to start earlier? Or what is it? Any Ideas, Thank's.

Hello Navy Girl,

It is very possible that the exercise or stress could be the culprit.

However if you had intercourse earlier in the month it could be inplantation bleeding.

A little semen is usually coming out of the penis with any arousal and could contain sperm.

So if you don't want to get pregnant use birth control such as the pill or a condom.

let me know if you have more questions,

Macy

Reply to Macy RN's Post: Thanks so much, I also forgot to mention I took a pregnancy test yesterday and it showed Negative. Should I wait a week and try the other one? (I used First Response)
