Is it possible (has it ever been recorded) that a woman's appendix could be burst through experiencing violent sexual intercourse?

Hello,

Looking in the medical literature, there doesn't seem to be a report of intercourse causing a burst appendix. There can be a lot of reasons for this. The most germane is that someone with an ongoing case of appendicitis who would be at risk for a burst appendix would not be having intercourse. That lady would be much too ill to contemplate such an exercise.

If you mean could a woman's healthy appendix be burst through vigorous intercourse, then the answer would be a qualified no. The act would have to be brutal beyond bearing to injure a woman's appendix. All her other internal organs would be equally battered. I found no such report either, possibly because this would be a case for a medical examiner rather than a physician.
