Rcurrent high fever for 7 days

I staeted with sudden fever aboot a week ago--went over 102%--Then would break--Then after 7-10- hours wouls reoccur--back up to over 102% --Doc,s exam --lungs xrays --ua. blood profie--10,000 wc Nothing to show source of infection--Dr labeled it atypical virus--Gave me Z Pack for possible secondary bacterial ininfection --That did not stop the temp re cycle--Today is now first day temp has stayed normal as yet . I am very tired --n0o energy and no desire to eat--Have to force food into me --stay extremly thirsty--What is possile source and since fever is now stable --Why am I so tired ?
