Hi

I would take her to the doctor tomorrow. She may be dehydrated. Be sure she is drinking plenty of fluids. If she is not urinating at least every 4-5 hours, or if it is really dark, she isn't getting enough fluids and may need some IV fluids to get back on track. If that's the case, I'd get her into urgent care or the ER tonight.

Reply to Kerry's Post: She is not dehydrated. She is not eating, but drinking fluids, gatorade, etc. The concern is She has two sisters, neither of whom are sick. She has no cold symtoms...etv. Only the lethargy, weeknes, sleepiness, some diareha. This has happened before since her kawasakis treatment. Is there reason for concern? something we should specifically have checked?   nurse hotline calle. they said probably viral, let it go a couple of days...How long do you let these symtoms go? Its already beed 5 days.

In my opinion 5 days is long enough for a child that small. I'd have her seen. If you have an urgent care, bring her in tonight.

It is possible she has a gastric germ going on as well, which will irritate the bowel and cause the diarrhea.

My bigger worry is the lethargy. I hope you have her seen.
