My 5 year old son has had a fever of 100-104 off and on all weekend. He has started complaining of headaches.

Is there a possiablity it could be menegitis? A little boy we know had it last week. I don't know if it was contagious.

The symptoms of meningitis vary and depend both on the age of the child and on which bacterium or virus is causing the infection. Usually it would appear several days after a child has been sick with a basic cold. S since you state it's been last week. At this point I would say no.
