do all of those symptoms happen at once, and how high is the fever. my fever was only 99. so if what i had was a symptom it sould have lasted longer then 2 days more like a week or two it sounds like. im just scrambling my brain having to wait 6 months.

Most do have those general symptoms, but everyone does vary. Yes it should last longer than 2 days. Generally a week if not longer. There are a lot of things that can mimic HIV. Just a regular cold or getting the flu.. it doesn't generally mean one has HIV. Fever above 100 lasting for a week or more. Usually the basic flu like symptoms as stated above would become chronic. Meaning your sick, then OK for a day or so then sick again.. (that would be the norm)

Hope that helps, if you still have questions, or if I didn't explain well enough do let me know..

On a personal note if you don't mind: I see you said you are just waiting your time out to be tested. Don't stress over it.. The results will be what they are. But if you stress over it from now until you get your test, you can actually make your self sick. Stress does more harm to our bodies than being sick. So just try to relax (even though I know it's easier said than done)
