33 year old man with lingering staph infection from ...

Sent to Health Experts February 10, 2006 11:56 p.m.

33 year old man with lingering staph infection from dogbite on thigh 1 month ago, have had boils on thigh, finger, and now carbuncles in anal/genital area. have taken 2 courses of antibiotics, but boils keep re-appearing over body. Today, swelling in the scrotum began and is very painful. Lymph nodes also swelling in groin area. It is hard to walk. Should I be worried about the swelling in the testicles? How should I treat it at home? I have been picking at the boils and squeezing them, should I keep doing that? Are there any creams or ointments I could put on my skin? Should I take an epsom salt bath? There is no fever or nausea. Thank you, I am very worried. ChrisM.
